Class Descriptions

Not sure what these classes are like?  What are you waiting for?  come on in to try them!

Strength Training

A class for everyone. Stronger bones and a stronger you. You will change your body forever. Together we will tone, chisel, and sculpt your body in this revolutionized functional workout. Using barbells set at your level, learn to get rid of fat by becoming a better fat burner. Muscle uses calories, fat just sits there. The more you learn the more you get out of coming. Yes you can learn new tricks. Men and Women benefit. This is group training at its best! All levels of fitness welcome

Step

Utilize a step platform to  get your cardio workout done in a fun class.  Step height adjusts for fitness level.  This class has been on the move for over ten years! Steady state training works.  Come find out why.  All levels of fitness welcome.

Step & Pump

Step cardio and resistive strength training included in the class. Toning & Cardiovascular work done for those who need a little of both just like circuit classes. Great to pace yourself. All levels!

Butz and Gutz Plus

Yup just what it says.  Tone and Shape your Butz and Gutz Plus...Mostly Glutes and Abs as main focus Shaping & Sculpting of the arms, upper body done as well.

Stretch

Stretching for 1/2 hour.  You will elongate and loosen each muscle you have in your body.  Come give your body the rejuvenation it deserves!

Core Training

What is the core?  It is what your head, arms & legs are attached to.  Yes, it is your stomach too. You will learn to work the stomach as well as the rest of your core. This is a progressive class to keep you tight, toned and balanced. Relieve low back weakness. Balance training is an element too.  The more you go the better your abs.

Spinning®

Group Spinning classes featuring the original Johnny G. Spinner ® Bike by Mad Dogg Athletics. Instructors follow the Johnny G. Concept of the Zone. Once you experience the Zone you will never accept anything but the original. Sign-up prior or drop by to see if a bike is available. New participants welcomed.

Yoga

Learn and enjoy all the basic moves of yoga.  Everyone can join this class whether you are brand new or a seasoned participant.  Please come and learn to Zen with Donna.

Zumba

It is a Dance Party! International music! All levels of coordination welcome!  Yes you can... We learned, you can too!  Meringue, Salsa, Cumbia, Reaggaeton... Ohh Yayy!

KettleBell Group Training

A weighted ball with a handle makes the kettlebell a unique functional training tool. There is a skill to learn. You must sign up for this class. This class gets your core and the rest of your body like no other.  Very dynamic and functional. Please sign up each week at the fitness desk. Big Core/Abs and Glutes/Butt workout!

BootCamp

Athletic, Agility, Balance, Core, Endurance, Sweating, Learning to do what it takes to get what you want class! Nothing fancy, just full out exercise at a good pace to burn those unwanted Holiday Calories!

Muscle Strength and Range of Movement (MSRM)

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living.  Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
